It is usually prepared by cooking in a crock pot, smoked long, low, and slow, or cured in salt brine to make corned beef brisket. It has a rich, beefy flavor. Because it is from grass-fed beef, its richly flavored fat is very good for you as it almost always contains more Omega-3 fatty acids than Omega-6 fatty acids.
